Hi! My name is Robin Kelley.  I have been an ESL teacher in Birmingham City Schools since 2003.  I earned my National Board Certification in 2008 and renewed it in 2018.

Prior to becoming an ESL teacher, I taught pre-K for 10 years before I obtained my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Early Childhood Education.  I’ve taught kindergarten and first grade in Shelby County and Vestavia Hills.  I lost my heart to teaching EL students, however, the year I had a non English speaking  first grade student in my class.

In August of 2020 my husband and I will celebrate 40 years of marriage.
